Not all chiropractic offices are the same.
At Provost Family Chiropractic, prenatal and pediatric care isn’t an add-on — it’s our specialty. We’ve completed extensive training to safely and effectively care for pregnant moms, newborns, and children.
We focus on finding the root cause, not just temporarily relieving symptoms. And because thorough care takes time, our appointments are longer and more comprehensive than most offices. We don’t rush. We don’t cut corners. We don’t settle for “good enough.”
Your family deserves specialized, intentional care — and that’s exactly what we provide.

Absolutely, if the provider has been properly trained to care for these populations.
We take into account the changing hormones and structures during pregnancy to ensure your safety. The most common side effect is some soreness, akin to a tough workout, that lasts approximately 24 hours.
With babies our care is very safe and gentle. There is absolutely no “cracking” or “popping” done as the amount of pressure we use is no more than we’d use to touch our eye. Common side effects include baby being extra hungry or wanting to take a long nap. -
We do not work directly with insurance companies for a variety of reasons, with the main one being that we want to provide the highest quality of care for our patients. We are highly specialized in perinatal and pediatrics which requires a lot of additional training and time. Chiropractors in network with insurance companies are paid what the insurance company dictates as agreeable which is never a fair amount (sometimes as little as $8!). These chiropractors then must see more patients per hour to make a living making each patient's appointment quite short. By choosing to be an out-of-network provider, we are able to offer longer, more in-depth appointments that focus on your individual needs. After each visit, you will be provided with a receipt that includes all the necessary codes for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your plan. Most people get some reimbursement.

That’s highly dependent on whats going on, how long its been a problem, and how bad it is. Our most common treatment plan is once a week for 4 weeks and then a slow taper off care to maintenance care.
